It’s embarrassing, but I’ll admit it. On occasion, I’ve received that bone-chilling call that no parents want to receive: “Ma’am, we have your child here at the school; apparently there was some mix-up about after-school activities.” It makes me cringe just thinking of it. Come on, I’m pretty sure the same thing has happened to other parents out there. It’s hard to keep track of the plethora of after-school activities, play dates, doctor’s appointments, parties, music lessons, soccer practice, and everything else that our kids are involved in. And of course, it doesn’t help that our kids so often forget to tell us ahead of time.
When you’re a parent, last-minute scheduling changes are inevitable. It’s challenging to keep track of them on your home calendar, and as if that weren’t enough, we also need to let the school know what’s happening. The school administrators want to see bus passes, early pick-up requests, absentee explanations, tardy notes, and more. Sure, writing a quick note to the school isn’t rocket science, but it’s a time-consuming task that I’d rather do without. Wouldn’t you?
Yes, I know that sending these notes to school is important for our children’s safety and security. After all, we expect the school to be accountable for our children’s whereabouts. But after the umpteenth note, I started to think, “What a pain!” Too often I found myself searching for a pen and paper and then trying to scribble something halfway legible while my child was saying, “Hurry up, Mom! The bus is here!” That’s not exactly how I like to spend my mornings.
In some school districts, parents are allowed to phone in changes to their children’s schedules, and of course they often opt for this because it’s faster and easier than writing a note. But did you know that these schools receive an average of 20-40 calls per day from parents who need to make changes? It’s no wonder there’s an occasional mix-up or confusion.
Well, I’m proud to say that I’ve come up with the solution to all these woes. I recently launched a new business, Notes2School, which makes the process of sending a note to school as quick and simple as possible. The next time you need to send a note from home, reach for a Notes2School pad, and you’ll find that all the hard work has been done for you!
The Notes2School is a ready-made form that covers all the most common reasons that children need to have a note sent to school. You simply fill out of the form with your child’s details, sign it, and check the appropriate boxes. Then tear the sheet off, hand it to your child, and in a matter of seconds you’re free to do whatever else is on your busy schedule.
Designed by a mom, the Notes2School pad is convenient, useful, and easy to use. It even has a magnetic backing so that you can stick it to your fridge. Every parent should have one! It’s a real time-saver, and it simplifies those rushed morning routines when you’re trying to get everyone ready for school. Busy moms love the way it simplifies their scheduling, and parents who are learning English as a second language appreciate the way that it frees them from worrying about the need for perfect grammar and spelling.

Thanks for the feedback
Thank you, I’ve just started this blog my very first. Please say tuned I’m not 100% setup but I will be doing a Giveaway in the next few weeks.
I’m a tired dad, working 24/7 making ends meet. I got my hands on a Note2School pad earlier this year and it has been a great help. Although the idea is not unique, it is however the most comprehensive note pad I’ve seen/used.
I absolutely love how simple it is to provide detailed information with just a few check marks and fill-ins. I feel secure that the school is receiving my information in a clear and concise manner.
Thanks again!
